Well, here I am trying yet another outlet to get my pipes shown to the public. I tried on Myspace, but for anyone to view the pictures I uploaded they must join and add me as a friend, so we'll give this format a try, I'm trying to avoid having to pay for a website.
I'm not exactly sure how this is going to work, but I'm going to try a different blog entry for each pipe. Thanks for looking at my work,
I have been at this pipemaking thing very sporadically for about three years now, between a full time job and a part time job and a family I really don't have much time for it, but hopefully one day that will change.
Each of my pipes is handmade from briar, as of yet I haven't hand cut a stem, I've been using the preformed ones, but one day that will come. My pipes are all individually numbered, starting with ASB 0001. As of now they are marked with a branding iron, when I get to the point of hand cutting stems I will invest in a real stamp.
Aaron, have you tried Flickr? It's alike photobucket (yuck) but alot nicer and very popular. A free account holds 200 photos. To upgrade to unlimited, plus some other benefits, it's around $25 per yr. Anyone can see your pics there and you can comment on each one and even link back here for more info. It's part of Yahoo.
